I build up some courage then said, "If you don't want to, I understand completely."

He started laughing so I looked at him with a frown. He was laughing so hard and it was getting me a little angry. Did he think I was joking? Why was he laughing? I turned my head and looked in my room, maybe I should just go before I sink deeper.

When I turn to leave he held onto my hands, "No, don't go. I'm sorry. You frighten me when you said that." He said still laughing, "You're so innocent."

I turned around, I couldn't stand and watch him laugh at me. Laugh at how innocent and naive I am. I could feel the tears building up in my eyes, ready to fall. He was still laughing and I still couldn't understand what was so funny. Gosh, I'm such a fool.

Before I could take the first step to enter in my room I felt his arms around my waist. He stopped laughing and placed his chin on my shoulder. "I'm sorry," he said softly. He turned in his arms so I could look him in the eye. He immediately saw the tears in my eyes, "Don't cry. I never meant for you to cry. I'm sorry." Instead of calming me down his words made the tears fall. He lifts his hands to my face and started to wipe the tears away. He bent his head and kissed my temple, nose then my cheeks. "Don't cry. I'm sorry I hurt your feelings. I'll sleep with you in your bed and we won't do anything, well unless you want us to."

He lifted his hands and started to wipe the tears on my face. After he finished he kissed me on my temple, nose and cheeks. "It's okay. I'll sleep with you in the bed and we won't do anything, well unless you want us to."

I didn't know what to say so I nod. He smiled down at me, "I hope you forgive me for laughing."

"Forgiven." I slapped his chest then look up at him, "Don't ever laugh at me again."

"Never," he whispered.

I smiled and rest my head on chest and hid my blush.

"Let'you to bed." We entered into my bedroom and then the closed the door behind him.

We stopped when we reached the bed, "I normally change into a night grown before I go to bed."

He shrugged, "That's fine. I'll turn around so you can change." he turn his back from me, he was looking directly through the window. "By the way, I usually just sleep in my boxers, so I'm going to just take off all these. No peaking."

I turned my back as well, giving him the same privacy he was giving me. I quickly change out of my jeans, T-shirt and bra into my cotton nightgown. "Can I turn around now?"

"Yes, can I?"

I nod my head, "Yes."

"Okay, let's do a count. We'll turn around in three. One. Two. Three." I spin around on three and noticed that we reached the same time. I held my breath involuntary as I looked at him. Just like he said he was only wearing boxing so his beautiful muscular chest was exposed. To say I was lost for words would be an understatement, I was lost for letters. He was by no doubt the sexiest man I've ever laid eyes on. His body was sculpted by the Greek gods. His six-pack chest looked so delicious, I wanted to be a little naughty and run my tongue over it.

I covered my face in embarrassment, did I really just think that?

"What's wrong?"

I removed my hands from my face and blushed, "Oh, nothing." Just my mind and its dirty thoughts.

He smiled then slipped under sheets on his side. He looked across at me, "You are planning to sleep on the bed, right?

"Of course." I moved closer to the bed, lifted the sheets up and slid under as well.

"See. That was easy wasn't it?" he stretched his arms out, "Come closer."

I obeyed him then slid closer to him, eventually falling in his arms. He looked up into my eyes and smile, "Thanks."

"I'm the one who is supposed to be telling you thanks."

He shrugged, "I haven't done much to earn your thanks." I frowned at him, waiting for an explanation."You took came here and took care of your sister's child. You didn't have to do that."

I laughed and shook my head, "Of course I had to. You made me got fired from my job. You threatened me."

"Well, I was convinced that you were lying. Pretending to be a different person."

I shook my head and smile, "I wasn't pretending to be me, I am me. I haven't seen Alliyah in years."

He nod, "It doesn't matter now anyway. I have you." he paused when he noticed something on my shoulder, "Tell me about that tattoo. I didn't notice it before."

I shrug, "That's because I do a pretty good job hiding it." I looked down at the small tattoo of the yin and yang.

"Why?"

"Stupid mistake I made as a teen." A mistake that Alliyah had pressured me into. We both shared the tattoo.

He shrugged, "We all make stupid mistakes."

I looked at him with my eyebrows raised, "You have a tattoo?" He didn't seem like the type who would get a tattoo but neither did I and yet I had one.

"No, but I had a piercing," he stated like it was nothing.

I laughed, "No way. Where?"

He smiled, cheekily. "I'll never tell."

"That's unfair," I said with a pout.

"Life is unfair." I nod my head, "Let's get some rest and maybe tomorrow I'll tell you more about the piercing that I had."

"Okay." I rest my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes, "Shut off the light."

He locked off the light and the room was completely dark except for the moonlight that was shining through the curtains. He wrapped his hands out me and pulled me closer. Not long after I found myself in a deep slumber.
